Growing up in Southern California, the youngest of five children, Cassidy became lovingly known among her friends as “mom.” From this early age and on, she’s has an undeniable desire to nurture, hold space and open into compassion and understanding for others. Losing one of her best friends at the young age of 16 to a drunk driver ignited a deep faith, understanding and ability to have empathy for all involved. Cassidy learned about grief at this young age not only in the loss of her dear friend, but in the subsequent losses that followed.
Cassidy excelled in school and completed her college education at the University of California, Davis where she majored in communication with a minor in business. Upon graduating from UC Davis in 2004, Cassidy accepted a position in a transportation company in Los Angeles. The company was in debt and losing money and Cassidy’s job was to learn each position, optimize the work flow and find every avenue of savings. Within a few years the company was generating profits and paying off debt. Cassidy worked her way through the ranks and now holds the position of President inside the corporation. She has built an extremely successful customer service, carrier relations and logistics team and is truly the heart of the company.
Through her beginning years at the transportation company, Cassidy learned she was pregnant with her first of three children. Being raised in a Catholic family, she agreed to get married and become a family. The self described former “people pleaser” and Catholic roots encouraged Cassidy to create a beautiful family. However, when the kids were 6, 4 and 1 1/2, Cassidy had the first of many awakenings. There was a knowing that there was more to life than the level she had been playing at and with that knowing came what ultimately was the first real decision for herself, to get a divorce. This was the first step on a very long journey of self discovery, empowerment, self-confidence, and living radiantly.
Near the end of 2013, Cassidy fell madly in love. Through this sweet man, she was introduced to a school named the University of Santa Monica (USM) and the subject of Spiritual Psychology. He carried with him a calmness, sensitivity and awareness to which she was absolutely drawn. Along this path Cassidy began seeking, and that seeking took her to places like Landmark Forum, various retreats, and even to find and engage her own life coach.
Sitting with her own life coach, was a transformational experience. It was the place that Cassidy learned self compassion and self forgiveness, learned how to navigate through guilt, grief, shame and fear, and discover her own values, her own priorities and the ability to create her own life. Through this, Cassidy decided USM was her next step. As a single mom with a custody schedule, the thought of going back to school, while running a company, while trying to maintain some semblance of life, all while trying to support three young children seemed almost impossible. The time had come, finally, in 2017, when CASSIDY decided that she needed to place her oxygen mask on first before placing oxygen masks on others. She was accepted into the University of Santa Monica’s, Spiritual Psychology: Soul Centered Living I program. She then went on to complete the Life Mastery and Soul-Centered Living II program, graduating in August of 2019. After two amazing years in the program, learning how to facilitate others, hold space, meet people where they are with love, compassion and acceptance, a fire was ignited once again and the desire to be of service and to be a safe space for people, became unignorable.
Just prior to completion of University of Santa Monica‘s Life Mastery and Soul Centered Living program, Cassidy enrolled in iPEC’s Coach Training Program. Although at the time the reasons for enrolling weren’t entirely clear, Cassidy has strengthened her intuition so acutely that she knew this was her next step. Through iPEC’s program she learned incredible tools in service to supporting others in their life to forward the action, to step in to radiance, to open their consciousness and awareness, and help them to flex the incredible gift of choice.
Cassidy has discovered that if there’s one thing she really does love in this world, it’s people. She has a clear call to learning and heartfelt desire to support and be in service. Whether your desire is spiritual expansion, happiness work life balance, advancement at work, or opening yourself up to receive all the amazing gifts this universe has, Cassidy would be honored to support you in your journey. She has become a perpetual student of USM, iPEC, Alison Armstrong’s Queens code, Katherine Woodward Thomas’, Calling in the One, a new program currently in process and every human with whom she comes into contact.
